Need help with deciding to move to Texas.?
Q. I am currently 23, I have a daughter, girlfriend (wife), a good paying job, and want nothing more than a peaceful and stable future for my family but more importantly for my daughter. I currently live in Bridgeport, CT. Bridgeport and the surrounding area is very dirty, crime rates are high, the educational system is poor, and the cost of living is extremely high. I am trying to buy a house and recently I pointed my interest to Texas because of the beautiful state, low cost of living, CHEAP homes, better schooling for my daughter and such. My best friend that I have known since I was six is also thinking about moving with his family as well which consists of his daughter and girlfriend also. I realize the risks as far as job stability,… [cont.]

A. I am shocked that you want to leave such a pretty area. I would kill to live in CT. I find Bridgeport to be wonderful, beautiful and I have visited often, on my way to Fairfield. Be happy that you live in amazing place! Texas isn't all that its cracked up to be.

A. To start her out: old Friday the 13th movies. They're fun and not really scary. To ease her into more gross stuff: Drag Me to Hell. That movie's funny because it's intentionally campy, but still pretty gross AND scary. To ease her into the really scary stuff: The Strangers. That movie is REALLY scary, but not gory. To ease her into the OMFG stuff: Halloween remake. That movie is sooo terrifying and VERY gruesome. Hope this helped!
